I cannot say enough wonderful things about Daka - the camp is beautifully situated, slightly elevated and looking down onto a waterhole - there was a constant stream of elephants, roan antelope, sable and lion most days seen from camp. Sunrises from camp were wonderful, as were our sunset drinks each evening.

The guides and staff in the camp were top class. We went on several real bush walks in the morning that were definitely a highlight. We didn't see another vehicle for the entirety of our stay - a truly wild area all to ourselves.

From the moment I arrived to a fabulous welcome I was so well looked after, the entire team at Daka is so welcoming and really can’t do enough for you. The delicious meals with wonderful table settings, the game drives with drink stops for sundowners and coffee, the beautifully clean and authentically dressed camp rooms, the drinks by the camp fire, lazing by the pool on a hot afternoon - everything was just perfect.

We spent four nights at Daka Plains and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Having visited Hwange several times, this was by far our favourite stay. Harris and Ray were exceptional guides, sharing their knowledge of the flora, fauna and history while making every game drive memorable. Brynn and the team looked after us wonderfully with outstanding food, drinks and warm hospitality. The cottages had every comfort, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We can't wait to return.

We spent 6 nights at Daka camp - we hired the whole camp for a family gathering. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Daka - the camp is beautifully situated, slightly elevated and looking down onto a waterhole - there was a constant stream of elephants, roan antelope, sable and lion most days seen from camp. Sunrises from camp were wonderful, as were our sunset drinks each evening.

A beautifully set lodge on a low rise, with the fire area looking down to a waterhole that was frequented daily by elephants, kudu, warthog, roan antelope and even lions multiple times during our stay! The guides and staff in the camp were top class. We went on several real bush walks in the morning that were definitely a highlight. We didn't see another vehicle for the entirety of our stay - a truly wild area all to ourselves.

Travelling in a large open safari vehicle, we enjoyed incredible wildlife sightings, including Waterbuck, Lion, Zebra, Giraffe.
